Don’t think we have enough to get him but we should def be in the discussion.

Cam doesn’t need an OBJ.  He just doesn’t need to be throwing to Sheppards and Bersins

This is true but looking forward we have a lot of contracts coming off the books, wouldn’t hurt to give cam the best offense player he’s had in his career besides smith and Olsen. But like I’ve stated only fo the right price, not worth the possible headache if it’s going to cost too much

Geesh this base is way to conservative. Let him be whoever he wants to be as a person. He isn’t out mugging people or get duis or anything illegal really so who cares. He has a right to freedom of self expression so let him color his hair whatever he wants,as long as he produces on the football field I wouldn’t care. So yes to obj to hell with the price.

Um... did you watch the video?  That wasn't no pizza slice in his hand.

My though's on OBJ is this..  he is too much of a risk because there is nothing that could be said that would really shock you about him

OBJ goes for 2000 yards and 20 td in a season

OBJ in the running for league MVP.

OBJ caught high on drugs..

OBJ midget sex tape scandal

OBJ loses mind on field and bashes ref with his helmet

OBJ strangles WR coach on sideline

OBJ strips naked on middle of field.

OBJ holds out for year over contract dispute

etc.....

Nothing would shock me about OBJ.  Mildly suprise.. maybe.. but shock?  Nope.  imo that's too much of a risk for someone who is going to demand a large percentage of our salary cap.

Odell partied his body out

his brain is gone, his durability is in question, his talent is fading. 20 mil for a guy that might be out of the league in 2-3 years is why they are unloading him.

For those comparing him to Steve Smith, lmao. There is no comparison, Steve was calculated and physically/mentally imposing on DB's and that caused them to break down and play like poo. If you tell Odell he is a ballerina fagboy he will shut down mentally and take himself out of the game to propose to a net.

0 Comparisons lol

OBJ in his first 3 seasons ....posted 1300 yards and 10+ TDS in all 3 years.

in 13 seasons 89 broke 10 TDs once and 1300 yards twice.

89 was our misfit.  Acting like 89 was some other worldly dude is just not fact based.  Especially when you factor in where OBJ is at this point in his career....which isn’t even his NFL prime.

Smitty is a future HoFer, so "other worldly dude" is a matter of definition.

Smitty had to play his way off of special teams, into the regular rotation, and then into the starting gig as a legit WR1. OBJ had it all laid out for him before he ever stepped on a pro field.

Smitty was never in an offense that was pass happy, much less centered around him. Smitty always played in a run-first offense. OBJ has been on teams with marginal running backs at best since he's been in the league, and basically the Giants haven't been a successful running team in years.

Just giving a little perspective. We can talk in 10 years after OBJ is done to see where he falls (if he doesn't fall before then).

Take 89s best years then of his 13 year career then and compare it OBJs first 3.  Bringing up punt return seasons doesn’t really mean anything.

I mean as you said, you would be comparing the best 3 seasons of a HOFer to a rookie/young starter.....and Odell’s numbers wouldn’t be just better.  They would be signicantly better.  Then take 89s headache moments from those seasons and compare them to OBJs.
