Oh. You’re right. I can easily google reactions anytime the Carolina Panthers QB is found doing anything other than holding a bible.

Have you heard of this thing called sensationalism? How about overreacting?

It's the dancing and, oh I don't know, maybe the video of him and some Instagram thot doing blow and smoking a blunt.

That being said, I would trade for him in a heartbeat. I would trade our first round pick for him without thinking again. Our offense would be so stacked it's not even funny.

Cam, CMC, OBJ, Olsen, Funchess - holy poo!!

OBJ is not up to Smitty's level or stature at this point.

OBJ in his first 3 seasons ....posted 1300 yards and 10+ TDS in all 3 years.

in 13 seasons 89 broke 10 TDs once and 1300 yards twice.

89 was our misfit.  Acting like 89 was some other worldly dude is just not fact based.  Especially when you factor in where OBJ is at this point in his career....which isn’t even his NFL prime.

From GBN report

Guess who’s coming to breakfast … There is a little bit of a buzz around the league after Cleveland G.M. John Dorsey confirmed that he had breakfast with Giants’ GM Dave Gettleman earlier this morning at the NFL Annual Meeting in Orlando. What could the head honchos of the teams with the first and second picks at the draft possibly have to talk about. Dorsey reportedly blew it off saying that the two ‘just talked. Asked how our summers were. How was your fall offseason?” Yeah sure whatever! The meeting did set off some speculation that the two might have talked about swapping picks, although it seems unlikely as both are believed to be looking at different QBs with their top picks. At the same time, though, there is even more serious speculation that the Giants could be considering dealing enigmatic star WR Odell Beckham. The Giants deny that they are shopping #13, but have also indicated that no one on the roster is ‘untouchable.’ On the one hand, it’s hard to imagine the Giants trading one of the league’s most electrifying offensive threats. At the same time, though the Giants clearly have wearied of Beckham’s off-field antics. There is, for example, a video circulating online showing Beckham in bed holding what appeared to be a dark cigarette next to a woman who had what looked like white powder. Said, Giants owner John Mara: “I’m tired of answering questions about Odell’s behavior and what the latest incident is.” On top of that Beckham is reportedly threatening to hold out until he gets a contract extension. The Giants probably don’t want to move Beckham, but have to be concerned about his reliability if he ever did get that huge new contract. And if indeed the Giants are seriously considering moving on from Beckham this may be the time to do it. Its also just maybe where Cleveland might come into the picture. The Browns have the cap space to pay Beckham right now. They also have extra draft picks to make a blockbuster deal. It’s also not going to hurt that that Browns’ WR coach Adam Henry was Beckham’s position coach at LSU. Beckham would also feel at home in Cleveland which just acquired his former LSU teammate Jarvis Landry from Miami. Stay tuned!

After numerous years of having sub-par WR play, I can't believe that anyone says no to OBJ.

JP, Kalil, Olsen and TD's salaries come off the books so signing him long term shouldn't be an issue.

For the business side of the franchise, It makes business sense to pair the most marketable QB with the most marketable WR in the NFL on the same team.
For the operational side of the franchise, it makes sense to pair the one of the most dominant WR to ever play through his first 3 seasons.

1. Smith was a punt returner turned starter

2. The NFL is currently a pass heavy league which leads to inflated stats

3. Carolina was (and sadly still is) a run first team.

1. You're an idiot if you don't want OBJ point blank period.

2. If the Rams get OBJ, goodnight.

3. If we don't try, Cam should sign elsewhere 2021

Suh, Peters, OBJ, Talib......

Word is the NFL is bringing an extra case or two of penalty flags for each Ram games this year.  Also, the refs are getting insurance for repetitive motion surgery

Him being a punt returner his first two years doesn’t change the fact Odell has 10+ TDs and 1300+ yards every season he has been healthy.

89 also didn’t play his entire career with DBs allowed to get away with murder.

Best single season by a Panther during the Smith “era” was by Moose when 89 was hurt.

89 was a beast.  We should love what he did.  All I am saying is claiming he was at a different stratosphere than OBJ or less of a headache is Panther fan fiction IMO

I always love when people take the "if we sign this one guy we're guaranteed a Super Bowl win and if we don't we're guaranteed to suck" position.

It's funny because it always seems like the teams that actually do end up signing that one guy never make the Super Bowl.
