No he didn’t. He hit him square up then wes Horton flung him in by the legs for the TD. Shaq stopped him cold.

it makes no sense on paper and cap wise to have TD on the team this year. Good teams dont keep guys because of feelings. 

It's not emotional if TD is the better player.  TD was better than Shaq last year and will probably be this year as well.   So taking "emotion" of it, the best player should play.  If TD was 29 this wouldn't even be a discussion.  His level of play was worth his contract.   

Going forward yes Shaq will replace TD, but on paper, on the field, in real-life, in Madden, listening on the radio, watching T.V. , smoking peyote in a tent... TD is at this moment the better LB.

put Shaq in TDs spot and watch him be one of the best in the league.

 

 

these are the same people who claim CMC cannot run between the tackles and be a workhorse, because we have had so many opportunities to see him have that kind of workload right?

EDIT:   i wrote this thinking of Coughlin. I wasnt speaking of TD. I realize the emotional and locker room effect he has and he is one of my favorite players. If we can keep TD as a coach that would be ideal

Coughlin has helped build a roster that had the Jaguars a few plays from the Super Bowl recently.

Meanwhile the Giants have been mediocre to abysmal.

This was a dubious comparison to begin with.

Considering how both TD and Coughlin were very successful and loved i think its a good comparison. 

 

Coughlin lingered after he was fired at the facility and people were afraid to tell him to leave, making everyone feel uncomfortable. 

 

Im not claiming it to be true but i am suspect of TD lingering when its clear its shaqs time and no one is brave enough to point of the elephant in the room considering TDs reputation and what he has meant to or organization 

 

if anything what you said about Coughlin helps my argument. My argument is about the lingering these guys have done wgen their teams want to move on.
