I didn't think the NFL made that formula public, but I suppose most people have figured out it's patterns.

Basically -  we lost 3 UFA (Star, Dickson, Norwell)  we gained 2 UFA (Poe, Cockrell)

As it stands right now, we sign 1 more UFA and we lose the 3rd rounder for Norwell. That's why we have to wait for another team to sign one of ours.

But we can still sign players that have been cut (Searcy) or not tendered (Sirles) and they won't count against us.

I think Hurney will make a few other moves out of necessity.

- Re-sign Derek Anderson and possibly CB LaDarius Gunter.

- Sign a TE.  ex-Falcon Levine Toilolo is a possibility since he's a good blocker and was cut a month ago.
