Having 2 competent TEs will keep our QB CAM protected during 3rd & 7 or go out there get us the 1st down.

Only difference from last year is Poe instead of Star. Hopefully he is better.

TE is a need but maybe bigger needs. Our TE-2 mainly blocks. Could use a FB on already on the roster to fill that position. They seemed to have high things to say about him last year.

what's more, if it's 3rd and 7+ and we fail to convert, that brings up 4th and long.  if we're in field goal range, we could attempt a field goal instead of trying to convert on 4th down.  it's noteworthy that hurney just extended graham gano who was one of the better kickers in the league last season.

6 names... Luke doesn't really fit that bill to be honest. Even still he's the best defensive player in the league, and if he can keep improving and developing his situational blitzing then he'll be even that much better. But his game isn't blitzing.
