Seems like a depth signing, which I'm not opposed to since we seem to have depth issues at safety every year.

He's an upgrade to Jairus Byrd in my opinion. Should be able to fill that role nicely and allow us to not rely on Demetrius Cox to play heavy minutes. I do still want a ballhawk back there at FS, but that seems like something we will have to draft.

Looks like a solid depth signing, not someone that’s going to be the “fix” we need at safety. Can help a young guy get his footing.

I actually love this signing. Wanted him the last time he was a free agent. Not a long time fix at this point, but solid signing IMO.

That's a good point and he plays free seems like we're not fooling with Boston we don't believe that one year was sustainable.
