Relax everyone, this happens every year. Because the Eagles just won the Super Bowl, the perception everyone has right now is that every move they make is wonderful and brilliant.  We got the guy we wanted in Smith and we're moving on, I suggest some of you do the same.

Pretty much impossible. No guaranteed money in Smith's deal and I think we were pretty much ready to move on from Worley anyway. This was a trade between two teams for two players likely headed for the chopping block in a few months anyway.

Smith is completely risk free. I don't think people realize this.

It would be convenient to wait until the end of free agency to buy at the prices that shake out but no market in earth works like that. Plus these aren't widgets they are people who play a major part on the agreement.

Not much of a surprise, doubtful he would have been signed anywhere else that cheap.  Only frustrating thing about that is we didn't even try to capitalize on our great locker room and fun team after 2015 and ink 1 or 2 of these deals since dollar store dave was busy cutting our best corner and reaching everywhere in the draft.

lol, we gave the eagles a young corner/safety and they gave us one of the worst receivers in the league for $5 mil per and then signed a superior player to a contract at half that price...

Or maybe we can't get a quality FA WR because they know Cam is a inconsistent attention whore prima donna who throws an abnormal number of passes too high to catch and if you are even able to catch one are being set up to be rocked by a thirsty head hunting linebacker.
