I like Jordan Mathews. He would have been our 2nd option at WR in the playoffs. He's never been a thousand yard guy but he was productive with the Eagles.

1st considering Funchess was playing hurt and honestly probably only out there because we were already down to just him and a bunch of practice squaders.

Well yes. If we could pick starters from other teams to replace injured players in the playoffs that would certainly have been nice.

The only way I'd want to go offensive skill position player at #24 is if Calvin Ridley was available. If he is, draft him.

If not, I just don't see another slam dunk 1st round WR in this draft and there's definitely not a TE in this draft I'd take in the 1st and if we take back to back RBs in the 1st I'm gonna lose my poo. Nope, if we go offense in the 1st, it better be OL.

DB would be my preference.

We have pretty identical ideas this year

Yep, too many holes to fill through the draft alone. Hopefully someone signs a safety and gets the ball rolling. So many safeties sitting out there.

The fact that we haven’t makes me think we are really high on some of the safety’s in this draft? Either way we should upgrade Adams too, not just Coleman.

I really hope we don’t think like that. I don’t care whether you like Gettleman or not but at least going into the draft we had a starter at every hole (nickel, safety, LT) and had backups in place. Right now we have holes at LG, S, CB, TE2, RB2 and QB2. Sure we have bodies, but they are guys not good enough to takeover for the guys we let go or are guys like Moton where they’ve said they want him at tackle.

Too easy to miss on a draft pick or have that guy get snagged by another team.

Did we have a starting corner the year he drafted 3 though?

I remember when we agreed to terms with an upgrade at CB only to find out he had more serious non-related football inures than previously realized.

I'm not a Hurney fan at all. I didn't even like him as a radio personality. But, he's done a good job so far. Interested in seeing how this team looks come week 1.

You own a grill. It's not great but it's grills.

Some guy Craig's list offers you a great deal for a grill that's better than yours.

You trash your grill.

you go to pick the new grill and it's broken.

now you have no grill.

Expect the unexpected in terms of remaining free agents.

Look for Hurney to sign overlooked guys like Eagles Corey Graham or Colts Darius Butler to play safety and maybe Devon House from GB at corner.

Told ya. I didn't nail the players but close.......

You guys also seem to forget that this IS Marty. We may or may not draft at #24. He's been $ in the first round though. Along with the recent signings, this seems like a GM that is all in. Love the moves though. We can certainly go BPA in the draft now.
