All I know is we are in trouble at a bunch of spots. I'm surprised Pepper's came back for a year, he ain't getting no ring here this year. If he wanted a chance at a ring he should have went to NE, Pitt, back to GB, NO imo. Sorry Pep love ya bro but going to be a long year.

sounds advice, you should mentor kids...... jesus bro.

I would take any of them on a 2 yr deal at 1.5/year and draft a TE in the first four rounds. Thomas would have to pass a physical within 24 hours since he was recently injured. I'm not giving anyone three days any longer. This would come close to parity with our TE situation as last year.

Lewis would probably be the cheapest. He’s old but can block, which is what we need from a #2 TE. He has a lot of experience and if need be can start in place of Olsen. He may not be the player he once was but he can still do a decent job if Olsen gets hurt.

I say sign him and draft a TE in the early to mid rounds. The rookie will have two veterans to learn from and will be able to sit and learn as our #3 TE. We must find Olsen’s replacement and sooner rather than later. TEs can take time to develop so a year on the bench will be fine.

Also what happened to Bucky Hodges? He at one time was on our practice squad, and I felt he coud have been a great  project for us. He has size 6 ft 6 and has experience at receiving. I wouldn’t mind us signing him for training camp to let him learn more and see if they can mold him into a decent player.
