Sure, but there's a way to write up the contract to mitigate health concerns.

Luke has concussion concerns too, but it is what it is. You sign Reid with that knowledge, and hope for the best.

We don't know why Reid hasn't gotten a contract, but I think it's better to assume it's because his opinion of where his contract should be (online sources have him over $8M - that's nuts) vs where the teams are thinking it should be based on his injury history/performance makes a ton more sense than trying to spin that it's just because of his kneeling. I don't doubt that plays some part of it, but it's crazy to create a narrative that it's based JUST on that. It's not - he's a liability especially at that high of a price. Plus, haven't only two safeties signed so far? The S market is just starting to move. This just feels like a story to play to people's emotions to me.
