That the 49ers don’t want the press from him kneeling anymore, so they’re letting him go.

Lol Reid wasn’t the only player who kneeled, he’s just not that good. He probably asking for Earl Thomas money also

"The knee is not an affront to servicemen or police officers. There is fake news, and there are fake arguments. That’s a fake argument. Taking a knee is a quiet and nonviolent way to draw attention to racial injustice."

He can state his intent all he wants but he can't force others to view it the same. Fact is many view it as exactly what he says it's not. Rather than alter the protest and possibly gain support from many more people, he and Kaepernick chose to ignore their feelings on it and continue. Now they don't care for the consequences. Hate it for them. And no, Mr. Sorensen we should NOT sign him.

He's had 3 concussions, and in the last two seasons a bicep and PCL surgery. The 49ers aren't signing him with all their cap space because they know he can't stay healthy. Why in the world would anyone pay this guy $8M?

Kneeling stories drive conversations though I guess....

To play devils advocate, they also made a guy the highest paid player in nfl history after not even starting a full season. They aren’t the smartest with finances over there.

Do you think comparing them not signing Reid with being desperate for a franchise QB similar?

The interesting thing is that the other owners are being made out to be the a-holes in this situation because of this accusation, meanwhile no one is questioning the 9ers.

Are you arguing that paying a guy with his injury history would be the smart financial thing to do?

Well that depends on the contract. Short term with a modest to decent contract is arguably justified in our situation. And contrary to what some are trying to push off on this place, he did play fairly well last year (great in some spots, looking like his former, hard hitting self).

I’d support bringing him in. I don’t agree with shutting he and Kap out. Hell Kap would be a good backup for us. These guys aren’t hitting women or doing drugs, even if you don’t like the kneeling(I don’t) I disagree even more with punishing someone on their views

I’d love for the panthers to sign Kap and Reid just to watch the crybaby trump supporter snowflakes lose their minds.

Why dont you crawl back to the ziggazoomba lounge where you don't seem nearly as unhinged and delusional as you do everywhere else.

I love how the conservatives complain about the PC police and people being overly sensitive, calling them snowflakes,, but can't handle another man's decision to kneel.  Talk about a meltdown LOL

On the football side, the risk is worth the reward. If he can stay healthy, he would be a huge help in the secondary and would be successful working behind our front 7.
