In your opinion, what do the panthers have to do to make the playoffs?

This Panthers team is not a playoff team this year unless a few holes get filled. It won’t all happen this offseason, but Hurney has a chance to fix it. I’m curious to see what Hurney draft evaluations for this team is going to be. He has mention a lot about adding more speed at the skill positions, but we also need to keep our strength strong. The biggest hole on the team imo is OG. If Will Hernandez is on the board at 24,  it’s a no brainer.

LG is not as big of a problem as CB. We are super thin there and it's a position that wins or loses games. LG isn't.

I feel this as season has left a bad taste in the mouths of fans.

Despite that, the Panthers had a successful season all the while never coming close to playing to their potential. That tells me we aren't as far off as most fans think.

We have to execute better than we did last year. A bit of health would go a long ways towards better execution.

We definitely have to shore up the secondary, but it's not impossible.

I expect playoffs. Once there, anything can happen!

To make the playoffs in March, first we have to get everyone back from vacation.  It's still to early so say.  It's like that movie Draft Day,  everyone was was telling Kevin Costner how great he did in the draft after it's over and they never showed 1 game the next season.  You want to know why, they lost every damn one.  It's the Browns.

Wait until the draft and and training camp and the preseason gets started to tell if this team is good enough or not.  Or if you have nothing else to do I guess you could make another 30 of the threads to say we suck, or can we win a super bowl or whatever.

Our linebackers, QB, and defensive line are among the best in the league.  We now have a 2x superbowl champion OC.  Granted you'd have to watch those superbowls on vhs.    But we're expecting a step improvement because Shula was so inconsistent.  Awesome against the Patriots, trash against the Bears.  I don't think CAP for Stewart, Seymour for Worely, or Captain for Coleman are clear improvements and could be argued steps backward.  We're still not strong on the wr  core.    We can fix maybe one of those with our first rounder, but expecting 2nd and 3rd rounders to excel their rookie year, is just unreasonable.  Kamara is the exception, not the rule.

We're in a tough division, but I think our schedule is actually easier next year.  This year we played 8 games (half the season) against playoff teams, winning 4.    We should make the playoffs.  We just need to STAY HEALTHY.

Honestly we are not far off from a playoff team. A few good draft picks to shore up some holes, a RB in the draft and a safety free agent along with a high draft pick corner and we are close. You folks spouting that the sky is falling slay me. We are 2 weeks into free agency. Give me a break.

Lmao we are a long way off. I don't see us getting .500 with all these holes on defense. I'm surprised Pepper's decided to come back to this.

Find a LT

upgrade cam's weapons

get a young creative OC who can build an offense around Cam and CMC

add another running back

add another TIght end

find a safety

find a cornerback

find someone who can rush the passer from the outside to give Peppers a breather

fire Rivera

fire hurney

do all this and I guarantee a super bowl
