The schedule for 2018 isn't too scary. We should be able to win at least 10-12 games as we are right now. That said we really do need for something to happen in the secondary.

We need a I flux of secondary help, speed and youth. We need to bring a guy like Boston back if the price is right I doubt Eric Reid is on our radar which is a damn shame, and a guy like breaux, that way if we draft a cb or s they don’t have as much pressure to perform immediately. Also could set us up to take the best available guard in round 1.

Mainly we need to stay healthy, and hope that Atlanta and New Orleans drop a few games they shouldn't.  I think the NFCS is going to be pretty competitive again, and there's no way we send three teams to the playoffs in 2018.

Also, we need to get some voodoo going to overcome this even year thing.  I think I would rather win 10 games in 2018 and miss the playoffs than win 7 or 8 and squeak in because we won the division.

Front 4 needs to dominate opposing O-lines on defense.

The defense needs to create way more turnovers than last season.

Left side of the O-line needs to not be a turnstile on offense.

Last thing - stay healthy. There are many positions that we cannot afford an injury.

Offensively we still have Matt Kalil playing LT so we’re already behind the 8 ball. We lost an all pro in Norwell and most definitely won’t replace him with the same level of player. Our center is retiring and coming off a injury plagued season. We lost our veteran rb and have no replacement right now.

Defensively our front 7 looks pretty good if they stay healthy. Unfortunately they’ll have to put up 85 Bears numbers because the secondary looks to be the weak link again this year.

Playoffs yes if Turner can ignite the offense and somehow our secondary doesn’t give up big plays over and over.

SB... probably not

Honestly we are not far off from a playoff team. A few good draft picks to shore up some holes, a RB in the draft and a safety free agent along with a high draft pick corner and we are close. You folks spouting that the sky is falling slay me. We are 2 weeks into free agency. Give me a break.

IMO, this team as it stands will be lucky, very lucky to make the playoffs again. Due in large part to glaring holes in the Defensive backfield. If we can somehow patch up the Defensive backfield I think it’s not only possible but likely.

What the possibility of a Super Bowl comes simply down if Norv can get the offense turned around.

if the defense gets fixed I say playoffs for sure, but super bowl? if everything goes well..... maybe?
