I think they bring in players for just in case the option of moving up is there. Also, if a player slips. I wouldn't knock the fact we are using 1 of our 30 visits with a player of Payne's caliber, there must be some sort of whispers around the league about a possible slip for us to show interest.

I remember the days when our DT rotation looked a lot like our current Safety rotation. Wasn't that long ago lol

Right. I believe Gettleman was asked about this and said he likes to keep a visit or two in case they need to bring someone in at the last minute to discuss any late arising concerns. Not sure if Hurney views it the same way.

Probably could start right away with Short to be honest. He's disruptive and both a run stopper and scares the poo out of a QB.

I see we are thinking of moving Poe to FB full time and drafting a Payne. Otherwise another DL is a bad thing.
