TE2 is getting worrisome

We have drafted 2 TE in 10 years. One was 2016 and the other 2008.

If we sign a TE and S I will much better about this offseason and draft. I’d prefer we don’t spend too early of picks on a TE unless a good one falls in our lap. But, if it needs to be don’t it needs to be done.

I truly believe that Hurney will attempt to trade for a veteran playmaker by the end of April. He's had some success in dealing draft picks for veterans (Harris, Chris; Olsen, Greg). I believe this is an avenue that he will look at once again. Who might he target? That I do not know. I'm not opposed to trading picks from the 3rd round on for an established playmaker. Easier said than done.

I know some will probably want to argue, but safety, tight end and cornerback would not be problems today had Gman did what he should have done as opposed to making luxury the new standard. Landon Collins, Hunter Henry and Marshon Lattimore were all suspected prized players on the clock and filled our needs.
