Robert Ayers cut by Bucs

After they signed Vinny Curry from the Eagles.  Ayers is 32, but has been a solid starter and graded out as high quality (89.3) by PFF.  He would be solid in our rotation for a couple years and should be fairly affordable.  What say you?

The CB market sucks at this point.  I almost wonder if we are better off improving the safety positions and rolling with a CB in the draft.

I feel pretty decwnt about our DE rotation for this coming season. We need quality young players to develop to be our future at DE not another guy on the wrong side of 30.

Fortunately our new owner is going to sign a guy who’s not on the wrong side of 30, has 5 more career sacks than Ayers, is cheaper than Ayers, and would obviously fit well in our rotation.
