Worth pointing out that the Redskins do still want him back and haven't signed any other corners to my knowledge.

Path of least resistance might just be to go back to his old team. Their doctors apparently didn't see it as a problem.

Maybe not but I doubt we killed the deal unless it was a problem. Players hardly ever fail there physical.

If you have a fantastic pass rush, it can cover up some ills in your secondary, but with our down 4 unable to generate a pass rush without help from blitzing, it will only weaken our secondary exposure

Rivera is a big, big, big believer that pass rush is more effective than coverage.

Another real issue is we really need 2 safeties and a CB. I don’t want to go into next year with Mike Adams starting at SS.

Who knows what will happen with Breeland? But the Safety market is much more reasonable, and the CB draft class is much stronger.

Sign Vaccaro or Reid at SS. Either should come at a bargain.

Sign Ron Parker at FS. Still target one in draft.

If Breeland or Gaines are still a solid value,  that could still be an option. Or pray Jackson or Alexander last until 24.

What Marty is trying to avoid is having 2 rookies in the defensive backfield..I think maybe that is something we should do because the talent at S and CB in free agency just ain't there right now.

I'd agree.

Said it elsewhere. With a lot of youth back there, this would be a time where I'd feel a lot better if I had more confidence in our secondary coaching.
