Wilson or Ebron? Who would you rather have?

We do realize this is for TE #2 right? Consistency? We have the most consistent TE in the league. For value, you go with the potential and talent, especially for the #2 TE spot. He can produce right now in that slot AND potentially replace Greg.

Barring some crazy salary talk, Ebron easily. Plus he’ll be motivated by being home as well.

I’ll trust in Norv to make this call. Seems weird to say, but Greg’s years are numbered here. We need a guy who can be the number 1 at any moment.

Kind of the way I see it, but I see willson as being much more consistent and reliable while ebron would bring more headaches than big plays. I'd be happy with both but willson would be the better choice.

I'm curious to what everyone is basing these opinions on.  How many of you have actually watched each game of theirs?  Or is just the lack of highlights?

Ebron has had more yards in each of the last 3 years, but the fact he was a high pick makes him a bust because the yards aren't high enough?

Willson but I’d be happy either way.

I like Willson and he can ball, but the potential in Ebron is off the charts so I would prefer him.  I'm optimistic a change of scenery and coming back to the Carolinas will benefit him.  He did show flashes in Detroit so if he can lock in the dude could be a monster in the near future.

I like Wilson blocking a lot more and would prefer him as the #2, but after the Poe signing, Ebron is probably the better choice.

Depends what Norv has planned. If he wants two active pass catching TEs then Ebron,   If you want standard strong rushing offense, then go Wilson for blocking.

The whole idea is still to get Cam better weapons in the passing game. Put Ebron and Olsen out there and that’s a big potential along with adding another deep threat and between-the-tackles running, pass catching RB in the draft? That’s weapons ALL over the field.

Ebron is more talented, no doubt there but he has been lazy and uninterested in working at his craft.
