I think it's a wash.

Our defense was able to stand up enough for us to get a shot every game. It was our shaky OL that just got weaker with Norwell gone and Kalil still at LT.

Disagree. CB is better, safety is worse. Sign a decent safety, yes it will be better. Poe may be a slight upgrade to Star but we lost CJ. Yes, he wasn't very good but until we replace him, who takes those snap?  Also, Peppers is a year older.

I'm pretty happy with the changes.  Need to see how the team comes together though.  I think that we have more talent for sure.

do you realize CJ didn't play  25% of last season ?  Dude tried to maintain his mediocrity by doping himself and still failed at it.  Time to move on with one of our young guys.
