I'm going from ironically praising Hurney to actually praising Hurney. This is actually a really good move.

Well PFF ranked Poe 32nd in the NFL and Star was 109th. I don't know. I'm torn on this move. This arguably improves our line but we still need help in other places. I need to see what the final numbers.

Looks like we are setting up to go all skill positions in the draft. I think this team is gonna end up being a whole lot faster/athletic by the time the season starts.

Let's wait until the specifics of his contract comes out. But if it does come out to 9 per, that's about what he made last year so that is in line with his value.

Just enjoy the fact that we have a 4 man DT rotation better than last year and Butler will be fun to watch this year. I have a good feeling. Maybe we needed the GM shake up to blow up the every other year crap so us fans can bicker as to whose players did more where we win the Super Bowl and people argue that Hurney may have drafted Olsen but Gettleman extended him as the rest of us sane fans enjoy when Poe and Butler crush Brady like a twig ended their hopes and his career in one play. 

There's so many shitty picks Gettleman made, I don't want to go into it. I'm glad he's gone, and I'm not ever going to enjoy a first round pick riding the bench years after they were picked.

According to PFF, it's not an upgrade...it's a massive upgrade.  Star was the 109th ranked DT last season.  Poe was #35.

Star had a great rookie season, but regressed after that. He's not what he once was. Poe is similar player, but his best days are still ahead of him.
