Yep, I think Gettleman may have also thought he was the BPA too. Short got 70% to 30% for Butler and Star was 60% to 40% with Love. I have to assume that Butler will be at 40%+ this year since he missed a game and don’t forget we thought his season was done with that illegal hit to the knee he took in the preseason game.

Maybe it was a luxury/bad pick, but he’ll be ready to roll this year and he looked better last year. Don’t be surprised if he steps up and our interior is completely dominating. If Poe lives up to the folks who replied to me, a first round safety that plays well and our D could be redonkulous.

I'm salivating right now at some possibilities that likely won't happen but still could...

1. Josh Norman released, we work some things around to bring him back and he comes home at a slight discount.

2. We take a top safety prospect in rounds 1-2.

3. We take Rasheem Green, DE in rounds 1-2.

Our D would be f(cking unstoppable and we'd finally have an answer for DE for the future and not just this year with Pep coming back. If we could pull all this off I'd be more excited for this season than any other in the history of the team. There'd be zero holes on D with the weakest link being Adams at S who is still solid, and plenty of elite players on D. We wouldn't even need any more help on offense, though we'd still get it in the 3rd round and later.

So we used the rest of our free agency money on a expensive Kyle Love to replace a first round Star.

meanwhile mike Adams and Colin jones have to play every snap of an entire NFL season

So not @Saca312? Thank god. So his source is definitely absolute poo about Honey Badger then. Honestly it seems everyone we've added hasn't been predicted.

Who says we aren't going on a Tiffany's spending spree and going for Honey Badger too?

Poe was selected 11th overall in 2012. Star was taken with the 14th pick in 2013. Poe is younger, and arguably has had a better career so far.

I could've sworn I read there were some health concerns about Poe; maybe I misread. Surprise signing but pleased with the signing.

He had lingering back issues in KC. Didn't seem to be a problem last year.

Didn't Poe have a bad year last year?

I thought it was solid.. Seems like I remember him having 6,000 sacks against Dallas (maybe), even though he's not really a sack artist.

Or maybe that was someone else lol.
