Yeah he was a beast and a huge reason for their D's improvement, particularly in the run game. He also offers more pass rush juice than Star ever had. He's older but he's an UPGRADE on Star, not just a replacement.

Close to Brerland's numbers and his first year cap hit was 3M.  So, I think it's entirely plausible.

Like it or not, the philosophy during the Rivera era has always been to concentrate on the front seven and try to piece together a secondary on the back end, especially at safety.

I know that this will subject me to criticism, but if you knew Edgar's life history, Love was Something Poe was rather Short on.  (See what I did there?) I didn't do it--the Butler did it!
