I like this signing. Butler is weak against the run, so we need that run-stopping DT to make teams 1-dimensional. Bonus that Poe actually has some pass-rushing ability unlike Star.

DE, S, OL, TE need to be our picks in the 1st 3 rounds. BPA of those positions.

We drafted a guy in the 1st round to be a backup and he’s still just that. Not sure how you can back that pick

Not sure how you don't understand that he was the BPA at the time of the pick.

Ive been saying this for a long time. you dont draft a guy in the first round to be a rotational player and never become a Starter. Derrick Henry shouldve been the pick. man i was hoping for Henry in 2016

You know what makes the 2013 Seahawks D-line and 2017 Eagles D-line so good with pressure?

Quality depth.

They both had really good D-lines with plenty of depth to boot. This kept the pressure fresh and terrifying. Compare with the 2017 Vikings, whose D-line would often gas out because they lacked the quality depth these two other teams had.

Having good depth on our d-line is not a bad thing. It’s actually very good.

I’m hopeful that we add more depth in the draft like a edge rusher and defensive tackle help later on in the draft.

And Eli Manning playing out of his damn mind in those playoff runs. Especially in 2011. He had a 6:1 TD:INT ratio in 2007. In 2011, he threw for over 1200 yards in the playoffs while completing over 65% of his passes and had a 9:1 TD:INT ratio. People might talk poo about Eli, but he was damn near flawless in the playoffs on the second Super Bowl run.

He's older and probably feeling the effects, but that happens to everyone.
