Na you cut Kalil if you need to get Crabtree honestly.

I'd honestly rather do it for the Honey Badger if we're going to do it. I think Crabtree and Funchess are largely redundant. I think Crabtree is better, but I don't think he's significantly enough better to spend $7.7M on him this season and negate adding an impact FS.

Green is definitely intriguing, but I don't know about all that "better than Greg Hardy ever was here by year 3" stuff. Hardy had back to back 11 and 15 sack seasons. That matches Peppers' best back to back seasons sack total and the 15 actually surpasses Peppers' single season best. Hardy was crazy and a black eye on the franchise in general, but at his best he was really, REALLY damn good on the field.

That tells you how I feel about Green... Yes I may be wrong and overestimating him too much but I freaking love the kid as a prospect and how he fits into our D. His skill sets mirror Hardy's and Rivera loves that in DEs. He's not a full project but would have to essentially redshirt a year before getting fully up to speed, but that's something we can allow for with Pep re-upping for this year. The upside in our D is unbelievable and by all accounts the guy is smart and works his ass off. He'd also bring a mean streak and intensity to our D that we've missed since guys like Hardy and Mitchell and Josh left. I hope we get him and I hope I'm right about him, but yeah of course I could be wrong. I liked Barnett a lot last year and he seems to be proving me right, but I also thought Agholor would be near Beckham's level.... Way off there. We'll see how it turns out.

imagine it's 3rd and 7+ (because you're not running the ball lol) and you're across from butler, KK, peppers, and addison with luke and TD/shaq creeping up into the A gap

what the hell do you do other than just hope it doesn't hurt too bad

I wouldn't mind that.

Poe is 27--we are getting him in  his prime.  Nice.

Yup that's major a young bull.

Short and Poe will be one hell of a force at DT.

Actually sickening should be monsters in the trenches.

Poe was selected 11th overall in 2012. Star was taken with the 14th pick in 2013. Poe is younger, and arguably has had a better career so far.

Big time upgrade dam younger bigger whew

We just upgraded DT and weakened a divisional opponent in doing so.  And I'm guessing the structure is going to be slightly higher in the first year than Breeland's was.  This was incredible, no matter how you slice it.

That's a huge deal for both teams, and one major point He Just played us twice a year he's feeling the team and direction we're going to stay in the division to join a current rival.
