If they are going to just release him, why not accept a low round pick in a trade? Would be a good deal for any team out there as he would cost more than 7.7 I think.

That would be the smart thing to do. Maybe the Raiders are regressing to the Raiders of old in their decision making.

He probably going to Ravens they will pay him more. They really look just as bad as us at the end of last year. Not counting on it unless we give up a late rd pick.

He doesn't have a choice unless he's released. He's still under contract for two more season. The Raiders can trade him if they want to.

That's what I was saying if they release him we won't get him. Only way we get him is to trade a pick for him.

Please no. Restructures played a huge role in Hurney tanking our cap the last go round.

Cam is gonna get paid regardless via extension or free agency and a bunch of money falls off the books next year with all the retirements. We could front load Mathiue’s contract with the cap savings this year and then extend Cam next year

You can also restructure Short, Cam, or Luke without cutting Kalil

It'd be better to restructure Kalil. His play has not amounted to 9.9M. Can't some of that be converted to a bonus so that it doesn't count towards the cap? Instead of restructuring Cam's contract, extend him and stretch out the money, if possible.
