If they are going to just release him, why not accept a low round pick in a trade? Would be a good deal for any team out there as he would cost more than 7.7 I think.

I assume Crabtree is hoping to be released as opposed to traded to your point... he'll fetch more on the open market. With that said, I think the $7.7M in cap space needed can be better used elsewhere.

I love fun fun, but if he was our 3rd best receiver, there would be no argument that Cam didn’t have any weapons this year!  It would be his first season since 89 was here hat he had a legitimate receiving core.

Well, Shepard would be released soon after the trade, so that would free up a couple mill.

He probably going to Ravens they will pay him more. They really look just as bad as us at the end of last year. Not counting on it unless we give up a late rd pick.

You can also restructure Short, Cam, or Luke without cutting Kalil
