I’d assume at the right price, they had a weak secondary last year. 

He did say he wants a “football first” mentality team and they are the only one that fits that bill that has a need at that posistion. I hate to say it but the early posts are right. We are currently “family first”. Here’s to hoping I’m wrong.

I like Mathieu's qoute there too. The Panthers defense is one of the best in the league and we've finally developed that winning culture here with HOF bound guys all on the field at once. I don't think we appreciate where we finally are as a franchise.

He may want to play for Ron and with Luke, this D line, Pep,TD, Cam, etc.

I never said it’s hurneys fault. You are the one trying to suggest that and failing. 

I said hurneys trying to build a one year TEAM. Not supplementing an EXISTING team with good 1-2 year deals like Gettleman did to keep us in healthy cap standing. 

At this rate we are going to be going into the season with NO cap. Don’t make me spell everything out for you.

Have you seen the insane contracts some of these FA WRs are getting? I think it's a stretch to say we could've gotten Smith for $2-3M. I think we were more than happy to give Worley away at this point. This was likely a trade between two teams of players that were likely on the chopping block anyway had a trade not emerged.
