I just think it's too easy to say he's a problem, or even compare him to Terrell Owens.  TO got into problems with his teammates, and so far, I haven't heard anything negative with Odell concerning him being a bad teammate.  The only thing with him is perhaps he might get an unsportsmanlike penalty.  Overall, I would consider that worth it given his skills.  He has a strong family, with younger siblings who look up to him.  A quiet media area like Charlotte might be good for him, compared to being in the limelight in New York.  He pretty much is their only superstar in the Big Apple.  Here we have Cam, and I'm sure they would get along being closer to age.

People on this board are crazy sometimes. Yes the dude is a head case but his talent far outshines any of that. In this theoretical situation if the money also worked then absolutely. Dude is a special talent and would take our offense to a completely different level. Elite speed, elite hands, elite athleticism and exceptional route running. Solves a whole lot of problems

No, No, and No... and this is regardless of the player unless maybe if it was a bonifide franchise QB and the Panthers needed one.  (not saying this now, since we have Cam but in general).   Trading top draft picks, multiple #1's rarely ever works out for the team giving up the picks.

Pretty sure people thought Terrell Owens was worth the trouble too.  That's why teams kept signing him.

Of course, all those teams eventually dumped him too.
