We pretty regularly get people with claims of inside info.  Some are credible.  Others are a little harder to buy.  You honestly shouldn't be surprised if people are skeptical.  And if it's legit, neither should you be offended.  Just the opposite, actually.  If you act easily offended, people are gonna be less likely to believe you.

If you've actually got legit info, be confident in that, but be very careful how you use it.  Because yes, people from the Panthers do often check this board and yes, you can get your friend dismissed from his position if you reveal too much info.  I'd guess he wouldn't be especially happy about that.

My suggestion: If you have something to share, sign up for the All Pro level and discuss it there.  You're less likely to cause your friend a problem.

Whoever the troll is that started this bogus rumor - congrats. It has made it’s way over to the local sports talk radio airwaves. I rarely listen to WFNZ because the programming is garbage and the station is anti-UNC, but I have been listening off and on today as I’ve been on the road. Those morons have been talking about it all day. I’m sure the morning bozos will be as well tomorrow. Pretty sad that they have to use a message board and a twitter account with 75 followers as show fodder.
