Funchess seems pretty capped out as far as ceiling goes. Idk how much more improvement to expect. He is what he is at this point.

How in the hell would you know this? Do you know him? Have you worked on the field training him? Are you his coach? Are you Devin Funchess?

Just another poster talking out his ass.  Ignore feature candidate in the making.

If you want to troll the Huddle, you need to just stick to one story. Don't say your friend got this both from chatter in the building *and* this magical Big Board that doesn't exist, just choose one or the other. Trust me, I've done this before and I'm pretty good at it.

Also, I've seen dozens of these "leak" or insider threads throughout the years and I can't think of a single one that turned out to be true, can anyone else?

Regardless of whether this is a troll or not or true or not your first paragraph makes no sense as he didn't have two stories about where the info came from...he said what he heard from someone then said the guy also told him about a big board...a big board isn't going to tell you who the Panthers made contact with but what value they have for FAs. Reading comprehension....I'll admit it's harder to do with the horrible spelling and grammar but still quite clear.

Also yea there have been and are posters who know people and have sources(this guy is not a confirmed one of those). Most offers don't go through but it doesn't mean it wasn't true....the fug you on about? If the Panthers make an offer no one knows about and it doesn't go through it was still a fugin offer....most deals proposed across all sports don't pan out. I personally won't put mine out for this reason and I don't give a poo about internet rep or whatever and the person I know is super low level anyway.

Do mother fugers actually think there is a  link online where all NFL, NBA, MLB offers are posted whether they go through or not? lol

But yea this is dubious as it should be until otherwise proven.

I hope you're right. I mean 4 years investment at 1684 yards and 17 TDs doesn't scream upward trajectory, but a #2- #3 is about right where he stands.

Your quote made it seem like he's killing it out there.. which he really isn't.

Most dumbasses like that don't believe he was injured as bad as he was and have their head in the sand. Funchess is still young and posted good numbers for a Shula offense until he was injured.

As a matter of fact Funchess should be getting hella credit for playing with as bad of a hurt shoulder as he was, even I didn't realize how bad it was at the time but it was and we couldn't replace him with anyone because we had no one.

He could go for 1,000 and 10 and could have last year without the injury + Shula....even at 840 and 8 that's fine for a #2(which he is).

He's 23 years old man. He's the same age as a lot of rookies coming out of college. He's still learning the game. He played behind Benjamin for half the season last year, and played injured as well. Jury is certainly still out on him, but he definitely took a step forward last season.

That same dumbass crowd is going to be the one bitching about not extending him this offseason when we have to back up the brinks truck for him

With 3 years of experience already....and still putting on the NFL body.....he could end up a stud and certainly no reason to be thinking anything other than keeping him around for awhile.

Forreal. The hate he is getting is mind numbing. Dude has already played in a Superbowl and has 3 years experience with Cam. The dumbass Madden fanboys on this board get really old.

He's setting himself up for a payday it's just in the course of business so far he's our primary wr, for a whole season, Norvs down the field attack generally puts up gaudy numbers. If we put up decent numbers and he's our leading wr he's  atleast getting Albert Wilson money. But seriously I hope he attacks the dang ball in the air like before his injury and he should be a major factor on a good offense which equals pay day.
