Personally, I think he has shown a lot of potential in the handful of games he has played, but his durability is a huge concern.

Sure, I'm hoping he can stay healthy and produce but he hasn't shown that yet.  He has worked hard and improved so I'll give him that.

The bottom line is, Funchess is 23 years old. He's the same age as a lot of rookies coming into the league this year, but he has 3 years of NFL experience and even played in a Superbowl. He started to flash starting potential last season and played through an injury. Curtis Samuel is 21. 

There are dumb "fans" on this board that want the team to run like Madden franchise mode and sign free agents that have a name they recognize but they have no idea what it means to develop an NFL player and give up on them because they didn't blow up for 1500 yards and 20 TDs their rookie year. 

The Panthers aren't trading for Crabtree. It makes no sense. Rivera wouldn't want to coach that hothead, and they already have Funchess who is much younger, cheaper, and getting better every year. So thread over. Everyone shut the fug up.

Funchess seems pretty capped out as far as ceiling goes. Idk how much more improvement to expect. He is what he is at this point.

If you want to troll the Huddle, you need to just stick to one story. Don't say your friend got this both from chatter in the building *and* this magical Big Board that doesn't exist, just choose one or the other. Trust me, I've done this before and I'm pretty good at it. 

Also, I've seen dozens of these "leak" or insider threads throughout the years and I can't think of a single one that turned out to be true, can anyone else?

A trade for a big name also has the advantage, that it won't negate our COMP picks next year (Norwell..). Worth mentioning I think...I'd love this trade.
