Developing Trade pending with Raiders

Wrong.  They traded Benji because he and Funch are similar players and Funchess was a lot cheaper and far less of a headache.  Funchess is not an X receiver, but we had no other options.  Torrey Smith is wasted cap space.

Hurneys quotes say they see him as a natural X receiver...now you may disagree but your head coach and gm's opinion kinda trumps yours since whether they're right or wrong that's how they're going to base decisions

So you're saying it was a problem cause we didn't have enough speed on the field amiright? Only difference is you think the answer was already fully on our roster...and I'm more on the I like what I saw in flashes from the young guys but until they prove they can stay in the field I'm ok providing Cam with another option and let them battle it out

Yes, that's my argument... that we could've used the Smith money elsewhere instead of bringing in a guy that is redundant.  It made us no better, but maybe a little safer.  Great.

What?  Not fast enough for you?  Both of them are faster than Torrey Smith ever was.

An oft-injured, poor hands/route running converted college RB and a 7th round, oft-injured WR > Torrey Smith?

Anyone that keeps harping that Byrd "has shown he can produce" (Freefua) is absolutely delusional.   11 catches in 2 yrs.  It is amazing he is on the roster to be honest.

Not taking one side or the other of this argument, but to be fair, Byrd hasn't played 2 full years.  It's only been a handful of games over 2 years because the first year he was on the roster he wasn't active most of the season, and the second year he was injured most of it.

Personally, I think he has shown a lot of potential in the handful of games he has played, but his durability is a huge concern.

hurney is your uncle at a yard sale eyeing the lawnmower with a broken blade

Gettleman would buy the broken blade, scrap the Lawn Mower to get a good deal, then place that blade in a weed whacker to maximize profit.

Browns looking for vet WR, they have the cap room and tons of picks, just sayin

I thought this today, then thought that they have Landry, Coleman, and Gordon. I know they have a lot of money to spend, but surely they have more pressing needs than another WR.
