lol, this is a never ending f circle.  We have fast receivers on the roster already.  We don't have an X receiver.  We need an X receiver.

The problem with Funch + Benji was that Byrd was hurt and Samuel wasn't getting any run by the coaching staff.

We didn't have the cap space to go after the big fish. The team traded Benji cause they think funchess is at his best  at the X. They're obviously going into next year seeing how he reacts going into ota's and training camp being the guy. I'm on the fence on that...hope he can but time to prove it. Biggest difference on this team last year was no Ginn...it was obvious. Byrd showed flashes before getting hurt, so did Samuels. But neither did it consistently or was on the field consistently...they're young unproven receivers..can't blame the team for not doubling down that they're definitely the guys

Wrong.  They traded Benji because he and Funch are similar players and Funchess was a lot cheaper and far less of a headache.  Funchess is not an X receiver, but we had no other options.  Torrey Smith is wasted cap space.

So you're saying it was a problem cause we didn't have enough speed on the field amiright? Only difference is you think the answer was already fully on our roster...and I'm more on the I like what I saw in flashes from the young guys but until they prove they can stay on the field I'm ok providing Cam with another option and let them battle it out
