I like this signing. See other posts on this thread as to why Lol. And yes ironically, Torrey smiths 5m looks a lot better after today. I don’t recall the last time contracts for one position were inflated so much after one year?

the seahawks also “backed into the playoffs” with a losing record under carroll and schneider and followed that up with a losing season before they had their 2012-2014 run

Not necessarily.  Speaking as a Gettlemen defender I am infinity more confident in his ability to identify a player that fits the team over Hurney any day.  But I would still wait to decide if his gamble paid off until the season is over.

You see, unlike most of you Gman haters we dont think every player we sign is the missing piece before they ever suit up or think a draft pick is a bust after one season.
