LOL! Free agency hasn't even technically started yet and the draft isn't until next month and we already have fans ready to waive the white flag.

The Panthers weren't going to be able to compete with the Jaguars for him.

While finding a great receiver in free agency may be a bust, I personally really love the Torrey Smith move, I think this sets the Panthers up nicely for the draft. There's a lot of money that's been committed to wide receivers in the last 24 hours. This could mean that receivers may fall a bit in the draft, maybe to one of the Panther's third round picks. With Norv helping identify talent, maybe they can draft someone that will make an impact.
