So he had 3 more catches 160 more yards and 6 more TDs than Torrey Smith last year and gets 11 million more per year. Not to mention Smith had a QB switch in the middle of the year and Watkins has an injury history. I know Watkins is the better player, but that Torrey Smith deal looks pretty solid right now...

it's great people are starting to get this. Also Robinson at $14 mil is technically do-able, but he should get a one year deal worth 9-10 to prove he's worth it after the acl injury.

Just FYI - Kalil cost 7.9m this year, ranking 20th in LTs.

We could pay more for a better option, but that would leave less for a guy like Watkins.

Here are the 8 highest cap hits for the Panthers.  Which of these guys are overpaid?  Which 1-2 guys do you want to dump to have Watkins on our team at 16m per?
