This is the opposite I would like to go into the draft. Or even the season. Plug as many holes as u can before trying to upgrade and get better at positions. I want a answer for stews absence going into the draft so I’m not force to take guice in the first or take some other cap in the 6th round. I believe in being ready for anything. Not just letting stuff happen to me. 

Why the hell would you want to go into the season the same. Those guys have proven not to be the answer. The definition of Insanity is doing he same thing over and over and expecting things to change.

Shady is much more nibble than CMC and doesn't lose instantly on contact. Arm tackles are the achilles heel of CMC and just a speed bump for shady.

McCaffery was .3 yds per carry less than McCoy this season.  .3 yards is less than 11 inches. Less than the width of my laptop screen.

And I am not suggesting that McCaffery is of the level of McCoy but if one of the best is .3 yds apart from one of the worst (as argued here) does that mean the entire spectrum of bad to great lies within that 10 inches?

Peterson has some life left on a team that will line up under center and give him 20 carries a game. He has always looked horrible with read option and shotgun runs and he won't get 10 carries a game here. No thanks.

McCoy can make a defender miss in a phone booth, Mccaffrey needs a plane landing strip.

 People keep asking why doesn’t he get more carries, why in God’s name will you keep feeding a guy whose average 2 ypc after 6 carries? Especially Mccaffrey who doesn’t have break away speed, so you know he’s not just gonna break a big one. I would understand if it was Chris Johnson but not Mccaffrey

If hes willing to split carries with McCaffrey and he takes some minimal incentive laden deal, why not..

but if we do someting like that, we cant mess around and try to run 3 different backs at the same time ala Saints in weeks  1 + 2 . If hes on the team we need to give him carries . Hes not a back that can just occasionally come in and power through short yards. If hes not got a rythm of carries it fugs up his game bad.
