Lol yeah cause you know Curry so well. People are looking to cash in and have 0 ties to Charlotte or the NFL. They could move the team to Oakland in the same state where Curry lives and make way more money.

You're saying Curry has zero ties to Charlotte or am I misunderstanding?

get used to it. this forum will be a warzone if that ownership group buys the team

Man, we get post on here now talking about how the team has changed since Cam has came into town. I expect those type of posts to increase if this group wins the bid.

His ownership stake would be insignificant and he would have no power in stopping such a move. Do you know how the whole situation works?

Why would he join a group if they were looking to move the team? He beat the drum at the damn Super Bowl for chrissakes.

Count me in as someone who doesn't want someone who killed Tupac as part owner of the Panthers.

I'd blame him for Biggie moreso. He had the bullet proof SUV and Big didn't. He knew there was a threat so why not get Big a armored vehicle too?

According to Suge Knight Pac is still alive so...

Rubin and Tsai are based in the Northeast, just like Tepper is. Why would they move it to Oakland to an area that the Raiders left because they refused to help with a new stadium?

Again, it ultimately doesn't matter if it's Steph Curry, Zod, or George Shinn and Ray Wooldridge that buy the team. The Carolina Panthers being in Charlotte is what will make the new owners the most money. Period. There's no financial incentive to move the team and there's nowhere TO move the team.

Oklahoma City could easily support a  NFL franchise.

Oklahoma City has a smaller media market than Greenville-Spartanburg. Seriously, look it up.

I know a lot of you guys have that Charlotte Pro Sports chip on your shoulders. We've been through a LOT of poo. Being pessimistic worrywarts makes sense. But the team isn't going anywhere. The billionaires follow the money and the money for the Carolina Panthers flows through Charlotte, North Carolina.

Well if when the smoke clears it results in significantly less racist mouthbreathers in this fanbase, I'm all for it.

But I have doubts ol' "mister" Jerry will be all that willing to sell to that group.
