That's the issue. We have a good sample size of him not being on the field so we know EXACTLY how much of a difference he makes when he doesn't play. I like Larsen, but no way should we go into the summer with us planning on him being the defacto starter at C.

uh no, the run game 'magically' got much better when he came back.

magic as in Kalil is one of the best C's in the league and a legit all pro.

I've been saying it all off-season, Ryan Kalil should be taking a pay cut or be getting released. He's not worth his cap hit.

It's easy to scream cut him in March, but if our OL is sweese cheese in September, people will be screaming at Cam for taking sacks.

Return on investment has been poor on recent returns. I know what Kalil can be/was, but at that price, it's not worth the risk for me. Too much you can do with the $. I'd let him go.

Won't cut him at this point. Might be a possibility down the road after June 1st but way too early yet.

Did it though? In the regular season we averaged 132 rushing yards per game with Kalil. We averaged 130 rushing yards per game without Kalil.

I haven't looked at it closely, but if we pull Cam's yards, would it be close?

Pulling out Cam's yards is not beneficial to our running stats in general.

Was just wondering if the RB's started stacking up once he got back.  Seems like CMC benefitted, but that could be it coming together for him.

Literally every offensive stat I've looked at, it's pretty much a wash between with Kalil and without Kalil. Now obviously that doesn't tell the complete story, but when you're trying to justify a nearly $10M cap hit you'd hope to be able to see that you're clearly a better team with that player and I can't make that argument statistically.
