We’ll see.

If the league office decides to do something about it, it’ll be interesting to see how it goes.

FWIW, the Giants FO has already been made aware of that video. We’ll see where it goes from here.

old people don't know what a blunt looks like.

How does that give Getyleman leverage? He doesn't have the secret tape to blackmail him. OBJ will either get in some league trouble or not (likely not). However that won't give Gettleman any contract leverage whatsoever. He would just go elsewhere in a millisecond and get a huge contract.

No he doesn't. OBJ has never failed a drug test and isn't in the substance abuse program. If he hit the open market there would be no shortage of bidders. If anything, that Evans contract just ensured no extension will be reached this off-season and we'll get to see another Gettleman franchise tag showdown next off-season.

If there is any thought that this is going to be looked into further by the league or that there would be any other issues besides marijuana, I'd think Gettleman would use that tag to reduce risk exposure. Just like w Hardy. And, just like w Hardy, there wasn't really any concrete evidence of any wrong-doing... we all know how that turned out.

There was already unlikely to be a new deal between OBJ and the Giants this off-season anyway. This has always been shaping up for another franchise tag showdown. Gettleman vs. Norman part two next year.
