Torrey is a deep threat. That is all.

One day we'll have a WR who is a deep threat and a threat everywhere else too...these specialists are 3s an 4s not 1s and 2s.

i think the intent is for Torrey to be a 3 or 4.

I am hoping Hurney spoke with Turner on this move and didn't just pull the trigger because the voice in his head said to do it.

Worley wasn't great but we add a receiver many here believe isn't the answer.   So we last a serviceable CB for a receiver that has a ring.

Being optimistic I am believing Turner agreed we could him.

The dude helped 2 teams get to and win Superbowls.

id say he’s a big answer to what we are missing.

Ted Ginn showed what happens to our slow offense when it has a downfield weapon that was a lot older than Smith is now.

Wentz is a great quarterback in the making but he’s got deep ball accuracy issues.

Foles has a much better deep ball and Torrey’s strengths were much better used and we saw a glimpse of what he can be for Cam in the playoffs and Super Bowl where it counts

so does the game tape show all of that?

anyone can find any sound bite moment to make any player look like a hero or a toad I’d thats what they are looking for.

why is everyone here only happy bitching?

will the same tape loving crybabies post a 60 yard touchdown and eat turd laced crow when it happens or wait until one pass is deflected or dropped to come out of the caves to troll,...

Man I felt like you when Russell Shepard went on that crazy good spin and run TD on his very first touch as a Panther but then he let me down the rest of the year.

I hope Smith turns out to be better than I expect. Hopefully he works on expanding his route tree and making his release better. I don’t care much about his hands more than I care about him getting open and beating press.

Idk about the 10/10 speed thing. Much faster guys in the league and it seems like he was a little slower last year. I’d say 8/10

yes that’s my takeaway from this thread lol

Lol I define speed as to whether you burn a corner when you got space in front of you and not let them catch up to you.

From what I see Smith’s got it

Yeh but Russell never caught bombs in 2 playoff Super Bowl runs.
