Panthers FO no known interest in Sherman. Very likely a 49er.

I am kinda glad, actually.  I love to hate him.  He is from Oakland, I think, went to stanford--so he is going home.  I get that.

In addition, he is coming off some achilles issues.  He was never a blazer...Risky.

I don't want Sherman or Norman.  Brand names from yesteryear are more $$ than production in many cases.  I think we look to the draft for our starting CB--free agents are expensive.

Repeat it in every thread, people.  We don't have the money to sign big name guys this year.  Even with his issues, Sherman is coming off a contract making what, 14 million a year?  Even if he's willing to take 10 (doubtful), other teams can throw more money at him, and he makes more sense for other teams.  Simply because he posted a picture with TD doesn't mean a thing.

The big name option that makes sense, continues to be Norman - - IF he gets cut.  He's a guy who would be willing to take a paycut potentially to come home.

    • They reached for Pickett, so they are not immune to it.  I could see that as well.  I just think the Colts are flying under the radar and they have been too quiet concerning their QB situation--of course, they could think Jones is their guy (they had a good one named Jones a long time ago) but I think they are done with the Richardson experiment.   Even if I believed in Jones, I would still draft a QB--I also read one mock that said the Jets would take Sanders if he falls to 7---I disagree, but I was once wrong and it still bothers me.
    • I just switched to prime video with fanduel south. Will I be able to watch the Canes playoff games still?
    • I mean, you can use that "logic," but the problem is that most practice squad players, backups or average guys don't put the play on film that Wharton did when given their opportunities.  Perhaps you'll end up right, but I don't think that just because a guy has been in a rotation makes him inherently less productive because he gets more snaps. I will say that the KC fans I've seen on social media loved him, and considered him their second best DT,  regardless of his "rotational" status, and generally considered him a dawg, so I'm going to give him the benefit of doubt until he shows otherwise.
