    This thread is just more proof that this place is becoming more and more unreadable. You cannot have a decent conversation without the "Look at me Trolls" ruining every thread. Just like the old Charlotte Observer, this place is sinking fast.

no it’s bc a lot of ppl on here have nothing going on with their lives and get antsy on slow news days and need their fix on a minute-to-minute basis

Because we do not control what Julius Peppers does, and we do not negotiate with Peppers, etc.  so there is no real reason to treat someone like sh*t for the sake of talking about it.  We are a family of sorts, with more to do with each other than Peppers--so if you do not get that, shake your damn head--maybe something will rattle into place.  Shaking your head as if you are the sage around here?  Damn son.

    If this is the best Panthers forum out there. Where did everybody go?  Hellz, even Igo goes weeks without posting on his own board. When was the last time you read something from a mod? Everyone is out looking for some place you don't need a safe word to enter.

 

    All we have now are the same 20 guys arguing, being snarky, and throwing insults at each other. Real discussion is a thing of the past up in here.

    Needing a fix, and talking football were the ideals this place was founded upon. Nowadays? Every thread turns into a snarkfest. With folks eagerly throwing insults, and proving that civility is nearing extinction. Anything for that almighty Pie.

 

    And this thread is exhibit A. Throwing shade at a guy, before, and even after, he explains himself.

 

    Am I the only one that has noticed this place is basically the same 20 or so folks. There may be almost 2,000 members, but 1980 of them don't come around too often.

I don’t think the others are posting on another panthers forum, they probably just don’t read panther news as much in general anymore.

    It is draft season. There should be threads galore about every player anyone has ever seen, or heard of. And yet, we are discussing other teams cuts. There just isn't the traffic anymore. And the majority who are here, find joy in insulting everyone who does not agree with them. This place is becoming toxic.

 

    So you are saying there is another Panthers forum out there? Goes to Google Panther Message Boards.

No I don’t know of any panther forums besides reddit and the panthers.com page. Are you saying Igo and SCP and guys like that are posting elsewhere?

ppl change they may not do the things they used to anymore. I agree the quality has gone a touch but I don’t think people are going else where.

Where do you think they are posting? I’m not saying you’re wrong I just think this is the best forum. I doubt igo is posting elsewhere. I don’t know about the others.

    You may be right, that folks just may have other interest going at this time. But...I have been around here for almost 10 years, and this time of year is usually buzzing with FA, and draft talk. This year? Not so much.

 

    And right now, there are a lot of newbs floating around here. I am inferring that some of these new faces are a big reason why this place is going down hill. 

 

     This place may still be the best place out there. But it is a far cry from what it once was.

Yeah I’ve been coming here since 2005, you are right it was a lot busier this time of year the last couple of years. Guys like panthro SCP and igo do rarely post here anymore. I’m All-Pro and there is barely anything going on there.

    No. I am not saying that those folks are posting elsewhere. All I am saying is, they are not posting here. I don't post as much, and I pretty much live here. 

 

    It is pretty much a guarantee that if you start any type thread, by the end of the first page, there is a really good chance it has already been derailed. It's like High School up in here.

 

    I am just lamenting what once was. I miss THAT Huddle.
