I really don't care whether Norman comes back or not. Gettleman had it right when he cut bait. He's not worth the money.

No he should have done what every player does.. And Gman being the hard was GM should have kept the tag out there and force him to play under it until his replacements are ready.

Nah, it’s common for players to not sign the tag right away... They never sit out the entire year. I don’t blame Norman, he was nearing 30 and wanted to be well paid. Getts believed our pass rush was good enough to compensate for the loss. He thought he would find an adequate CB in the draft. Huge gamble.

Ego plays a big part. DG had just gotten out of Hurney hell, and was placing his stamp on the team. Should have left the tag in place, but that sh don't matter now. I read somewhere this draft is a good CB draft....

And not the 1st time he gambled changing whole position groups in 1 off season.. Neither time worked..

Funny part other teams seem to play the tag game well and not take 5 to 6 game drops for their off season decision making.. But Gman is God around here..
