Panthers trade Worley for Torrey Smith

Worley wasn't making much but I can pretty much guarantee the coaching staff had determined they would be cutting him also just like Philly was with Smith to make this move

Worley was awful and we leveraged that into a viable veteran wide out. 

I’m very pleased we got Smith, and even more pleased worley won’t be sucking on my team anymore.

I mean, didn't the Huddle say we can't go into next season with Bradberry and Worley starting. Well, Hurndog is doing something about that. And we're getting new Safeties too. Changes are coming, and all the Huddle does is bitch. 

Didn't we hear complaints about how we were doing nothing too? I don't care for Hurney. But, he's LITERALLY trying to change this team.

Of course if he were to hit the market he would need to be convinced to sign here, which could be why we pulled the trigger because Hurney doesn't have faith that he could convince a FA WR to join the squad. 

I don't know how I feel about this honestly. I think I'm too biased against Hurney to consider it a good move. 

Smith's contract has no more guarantees.  Sure, it was 3 years and 15 million.  But only 5 million was guaranteed, all paid last season.  Smith can be cut with no cap hit at all.

This makes it very likely that we restructure his deal to include less per year, but more guaranteed.  This is a win for us.

Smith makes 5 mill and caught 36 ball for 430 yards..... Yet everyone will be fine with Sammy Watkins making 11 mill... bringing his 39 catches for 593....

I wanted a proven speed threat, and we got one. Worley wasn't a substantial loss at all, in fact we can upgrade fairly easily.

This is so dumb. There is reason for outrage because they are actually bad moves. We need cap space and in a matter of one week Hurney just committed $9.5 dollars to gano and Torrey smith.
