This is a really bad trade guys. A really bad one. If this takes us out of the running for Watkins or Robinson, it just makes it that much worse.

Carolina was never in the running for either one of those players.  Carolina is not one player away from the Super Bowl they need multiple players they can't afford to put all their cap into one player

How many people are using the same sort of terms to talk about Worley?

Come on Scot

-How many passes should he have deflected?

-How many times did he miss coverage

Worley was a Getts choice & basically sucked.

Good trade. Doesn’t matter he was gonna be released anyway. This way WE got him rather than some team with more cap space. And we gave up peanuts. Worley is trash. Can only coast on “upside” for so long. I was happy af when I heard the terms of the trade. We gave up no draft picks.

I mean if we would have traded for Alshon Jeffrey instead these guys would be loosing their minds over another Benjamin with a HUGE cap number,...

any moves we make are dumb,.. unless we go get a Keenan Allen trade and he agrees to take a $1 cap figure but people would still bitch if the trade was CAP our running back savior now that Stewart is gone,..

It’s just all ridiculous.

Come on Marty? Really? Why don't you go back to being a newspaper reporter.

Allen Robinson is available and this is what you do. You did get rid of Worley who has hurt us time after time.

Get with the program Marty. New Management might just have to get rid of you, too.

Come on panther time? Really? Paying Allen Robinson 12 mil a year coming off a knee injury? Who says he doesn’t choose somewhere else. Who says he and Watkins don’t choose somewhere else? What then? Get with the program Panthertime, we will never overspend on the top tier FA guys, mainly because it’s dumb and doesn’t correlate to success.

We got a better Ted Ginn, on a decent contract (can cut at any point and we owe nothing in dead cap I believe), and gave up a guy the Huddle hated last year.  Not seeing why so many people were against this unless they wanted to bitch to bitch...Sammy Watkins and Allen Robinson weren't coming here unless they were taking pay cuts.

Sherman is the exact CB panthers need for their scheme, having him paired with Bradberry will make the rookie Saftey's job a lot easier.

P.S. more coverage sacks by Pep,KK,Mario, etc

Harrison and Bates would be an amazing dou to draft!

Would you guys feel any better if we traded say, this year's 5th rounder straight up for Torrey Smith?

Nope. I woulda liked the trade a little less in that scenario. At least this year’s 5th rounder could be good. Might get another Norman or Hardy. Or another stinker and it doesn’t matter whether it was Worley or a 5th, and the new 5th would be cheaper than Worley anyway so still a win.
