One of the deepest RB drafts in years.. Why are you trying to spend more money(We really don't have) on a 30 year old vet RB??

I'd bring him in for a year or two...absolutely he has 2 good years left...all this depends on cost

Can run. Can catch. Probably has two more years left in him. I feel like he would do better where he could get the lions share of the carries, assuming he can stay healthy with that share. I forget what injury he has hip or quad or something like that but he is ALWAYS plagued by it. I could seem him doing work with the Colts where they need a guy and Luck likes to pass to the RBs (thinking about Bradshaw when he was there).

hes not a system fit and rb is too rich in this draft to even think about getting a rb hell prob go to seattle or denver

He can run and he can catch...sounds like a fit to me , unless you mean a runner who has to fight two tacklers off behind the line of scrimmage to gain 3 yds...that my friend is not a fit it is our poor run blocking ... this is why Stew goes to a decent blocking team and seems to regain some former glory...Murray would fit if we block for him ...

Why?? RB is one of easiest position to transition from college to Pros...

No matter what cost a vet is going to make more than a latter round rookie.. And again this is the deepest RB draft in years...

Why waste the little FA money we do have on a 30 year old pair of legs??

It just doesn't make sense...

Too many people in this thread want to put all their eggs in one basket with a rookie rb and a 2nd year rb

Rather that than spending valuable cap money on a old back... We could have just kept Stew if we were going to make this type of move..

I just don't see the logic in cutting your 10 year, home grown , leading rusher leader, only to sign a player the same age with similar stats??
