Good for the rams. This is what happens when your front office is surrounded by smart people. Teams like the eagles and Rams and Seahawks went all in when they had a franchise quarterback under a team friendly deal. Carolina wasn't afforded that opportunity because they were run by two incompetent morons in Jerry Richardson and Marty Hurney. The wonder twins put this team in cap hell.

And Goff is still their QB.  Gurley will regress a little towards the mean next year, but that defense is being revamped to be tough.  Donald, Peters, Talib is pretty nice, but Peters & Talib might kill each other in training camp.
