Honestly, I wouldn't be a huge fan of the McGlinchey pick at #24. I just don't think he's a LT in the NFL and we already have a young All-Pro RT. I wouldn't necessarily be upset by the pick because maybe I'm wrong and he is a LT and I think he's a good prospect either way, but I wouldn't exactly be excited about it.

Not a bad draft honestly. Don’t like not taking advantage of the RB group. McGlinchey struggles against speed rushers but he’s no Matt Kalil. I wouldn’t mind him because he’s a dominant run blocker and we’re a run first team.

But I can see why posters wouldn’t like it. I personally would go another direction also.

I don't like the Mike McGlinchey pick. All I've heard from Rivera and Hurney is getting rookies that can make an immediate impact. McGlinchey probably won't start his first season unless injury. I rather take a G/C then a LT in the first round that will see the field.

We already have two RT's . . . McGlinchy doesn't seem to fit.  I like the Hurst pick.

There was a mock on nfl.com (Daniel Jeremiah I think) that had Calvin Ridley drop to us.  I mean . . . given our team if Ridley gets within 5 picks of us we better be looking for a way to get him.

I would love to get Harrison, Hurst, and Gallup at those spots in the draft.  I would be shocked if all 3 of those are available at those spots.

As far as the first round pick goes I understand its not an exciting pick for a lot of people around here, myself included, but sometimes you have to take chance with tackles.  I doubt many people would have been excited over Ramczyk last year either.
