Family beach vacation

Need recommendation for this year.  I got 3 kids from 1-4 year old.  We went to Destin last time and stayed at Emerald Grande and loved it but the drive sucked.  Is there anything closer?  My budget is up to $700 a night.

Depends on what you and your wife like to do with the kids.  Hilton head is nice but less kid friendly activities. They do have some wildlife options but not a ton else.  If you just hang out at the beach and then go grab dinner it isn't a bad spot.

Send a Nanny to the beach with the kids along with $700 per day and enjoy your week at home:)

my kid and his wife have a condo on Oak Island; I'd never been there before they got it a couple of years ago but I like it a lot. Myrtle Beach isn't a really long drive away either if you need to get your kids some Redneck Riviera time.

Try VRBO and pick your house and beach.

Go the week before school lets out, sometimes you get a better deal

or screw the beach and head to Gatlinburg Tennesee.  rent you a nice cabin, moutain view etc. then head to downtown gatlinburg strip or over to pigeon forge.  tons of poo to do there.

So about $5000 for the week - leave the country and hit a all inclusive in the Caribbean.

You can get a 5-star adult-only all inclusive in Cancun for less than that...

He has kids - but yeah - at that price you can get a pretty top level family friendly resort.

I just did Punta Cana with 2 kids for about $3500.
